Carl Fulgenzi was born and raised in the Town of Mount Pleasant and has dedicated his life to our community.

He was first elected to the Town Board in 1989 as Councilman. In 2012, Carl was appointed Deputy Town Supervisor, and in 2014, he stepped into the role of Town Supervisor. Since then, Carl has continued to serve as Town Supervisor and is now running for re-election in November 2025.

Beyond public service, Carl knows firsthand the needs of local businesses. While maintaining these various offices and dedicating time to the community he loves, Carl was also a business owner. In 1972, he opened Fulgenzi Plumbing & Heating. He ran this business until 2014, at which time he retired in order to fully devote himself to the Town and to hold the position of Town Supervisor.

Carl’s record is proof of his steady leadership and devotion to the town he has always called home.
