Carl was born and raised in the Town of Mount Pleasant and has dedicated his life to our community.

Beginning in 2007, Carl became a Councilman for the Town of Mount Pleasant, winning two terms in 2007 and 2011. In 2012, Carl was appointed Deputy Town Supervisor and in October 2014, became Town Supervisor. The following year, he ran and was elected for a full term and was re-elected in 2017. Carl has since held the office of Town Supervisor and is currently running for re-election in November 2021.

While maintaining these various offices and dedicating time to the community he so loves, Carl was also a business owner. In 1972, he opened Fulgenzi Plumbing & Heating; he ran this business until 2014, at which time he retired in order to fully devote himself to the Town and to hold the position of Town Supervisor.
