Emily Costanza is a lifelong Mount Pleasant resident and Westlake High School alumna. Since 2022, Emily has delivered on her promise to modernize the Town Clerk’s office. In just a few years, she has brought all Town Clerk applications—including Freedom of Information requests, parking, and dog licensing—online. She’s also brought the Pango parking app to the Hawthorne and Valhalla commuter lots to accommodate varying commuter schedules, and has eliminated the administrative burden of paper vital records requests by introducing an online application system.
Emily is dedicated to building on this progress and ensuring Mount Pleasant continues to thrive and work for everyone. As the town’s record keeper, she will focus on a multi-department expansion of digital accessibility, making government services even more efficient and user-friendly, while preserving our history. Emily is committed to fostering open communication with residents, supporting local families and businesses, and ensuring that Mount Pleasant remains a vibrant, forward-looking community for the generations to come.
